What is Music Business Circle?
Music Business Circle (MBC) is a project-centered platform designed to help artists, creatives,
educators, and industry professionals collaborate, learn, and grow together.

 

Do I need to be signed to N.O. Records?
No. MBC is open to independent artists, creatives, and industry professionals.

 

What is a Project?
A project is the central workspace used to manage creative work such as songs, albums, tours,
videos, educational programs, and other initiatives.

 

What are Opportunities?
Opportunities are project-based requests for services, collaborations, education, creative
support, or professional assistance.

 

What is the Artist Advancement Center?
The Artist Advancement Center (AAC) is MBC's education and development hub, providing
resources, workshops, mentorship opportunities, and professional growth programs.

 

Can I offer services through MBC?
Yes. Qualified members may participate in opportunities based on their experience, skills, and
interests.

 

Do I have to pay for MBC?

Some features may be available free of charge, while advanced services, memberships, and
professional opportunities may require payment.

Catalog Administration FAQ

What is Catalog Administration?
Catalog Administration helps artists organize, register, and maintain information related to their
Music catalog.

 

What organizations do you support?
Services may include assistance with registrations involving organizations such as BMI and
other rights-management entities as available.

 

Do I keep ownership of my music?
Yes. Catalog Administration does not transfer ownership of your music unless specifically
agreed to in writing.

 

How long does registration take?
Processing times vary depending on the information provided and the organizations involved.

 

What information do I need?
Typically:
● Song titles
● Writer information
● Split information
● Recording information
● Contact details

 

Can you help if my catalog is already registered?
Yes. We may be able to assist with updates, corrections, audits, and maintenance.

 

Do you collect my royalties?
Catalog Administration and royalty collection are separate services. Any royalty-related services
will be outlined separately.
